
Beginning Wednesday, January 26th, St. Nersess Seminary is embarking on their third series of internet live streaming lectures with a course entitled, Armenian Hymnography: History, Theology and Function. The lectures will be led by V. Rev. Fr. Daniel Findikyan, Dean and Professor of Liturgical Studies at St. Nersess Seminary.
These lectures are part of an ongoing Global Classroom, which intends to make the theology of the Armenian Orthodox Church more accessible to anyone interested in learning more about the Armenian Orthodox expression of Christianity, and its significance and influence within Christendom.
The 16 weekly lectures will run Wednesday evenings from January 26th through May 18th, 2011, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The lectures are recorded and archived, so if you miss a class, you may access the site and watch them at a later date.
